Pune Congress Protest Against BJP Govt | BJP washing machine cleans corrupt politicians after levelling allegations of graft; Congress stages agitation outside BJP office

PUNE : Pune Congress Protest Against BJP Govt | The city unit of the Congress staged an agitation outside the BJP office alleging that BJP is a washing machine and washing powder because it had offered cabinet berths to members of NCP after forming an alliance with it after alleging that the NCP was involved in corruption of ₹70,000 crore.

MLA Ravindra Dhangekar, Vice-President Mohan Joshi, former state home minister Ramesh Bagwe, spokesperson Gopal Tiwari, OBC cell chief Prashant Surse, General Secretary Ramesh Iyer, women’s cell chief Pooja Anand, Youth Congress chief Prathamesh Abnave, Naruddin Somji, Avinash Bagwe and other office-bearers were present.

A symbolic washing machine had been brought by agitators and it was labelled BJP washing machine. Mohan Joshi put a black t-shirt inside the machine, put BJP washing powder and took out a white t-shirt.

“At present, the BJP is using the same tactics. The party puts pressure of central investigative agencies, makes allegations, sends ED notices and admits them to the BJP or takes their support for their government. The BJP has cleaned hundreds of politicians like Central Minister Narayan Rane and Ajit Pawar so far. MLA Dhangekar also criticised the BJP. He expressed a hope that voters will not support the BJP in the elections. They shouted slogans outside the BJP office. Many activists of the Congress took part in the agitation.
