Pune: Bungalow in Khese Park Lohegaon burgled, goods worth Rs 2.12 stolen

Pune: The spate of burglaries in the city continue unabated with now a bungalow in the popular Khese Park area of Lohegaon targeted by the thieves. The suspects burgled into the bungalow and have reportedly stolen goods worth Rs 2.12 lakh from the residence. The incident took place on October 16 to 18.

Kalpana Hedavu (55), owner of the bungalow, has filed a complaint in this regard at the Vimantal police station. Based on this complaint, police have registered a case against unidentified suspects.

According to police, Kalpana Hedavu owns the bungalow in Khese Park area. She had locked her bungalow and went out of city for some work for two days on October 16 to 18. The suspects took undue advantage of this and entered the bungalow through the bedroom. Cash amount and gold ornaments total worth Rs 2.12 lakh were stolen by the suspects.

When Kalpana Hedavu returned home, she noticed that the thieves had gained unauthorised entry into the house through her bedroom. She immediately informed the Vimantal police station and filed the complaint.
