Pune BARTI | BARTI launches ‘overseas placement programme’ to provide job opportunities in Gulf countries

Pune : NpNews24 Online  –  Pune BARTI | Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Research and Training Institute (BARTI) has launched an ‘overseas placement programme’ to help scheduled caste candidates apply for jobs in foreign countries. In 2023-24, in the first phase, 500 candidates from urban and rural areas will be provided with job opportunities in Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and UAE. (Pune BARTI)

 

BARTI’s Director General Sunil Ware gave this information. Considering the changes in science and technology, there will be huge demand for well educated and qualified manpower and BARTI has started making efforts to provide job opportunities in foreign countries for SC candidates. BARTI is going to provide free skills development training to 25,000 candidates. In the first phase, the candidates will be trained in in Tata Strive, Lanet Skill, ICICI Skill Academy, National Institute of Post Harvest Technology, Maharashtra Ex-Servicemen Corporation, Khadi and Gramodyog Mandal, National Institute of Naturopathic Medicine, National Institute of Electronic and Information Technology. Last year, 3,180 candidates were provided training under BARTI’s skill development programme.

 

BARTI provides skill-based training and foreign languages to youths and women which help them to get jobs or start their business. Efforts are being made to increase candidates’ educational and financial condition by taking some steps, Ware said.

 

BARTI’s Director General Sunil Ware said, “Organisations providing jobs in foreign countries will be selected after carrying out checks under the ‘overseas placement programme’. The parameters for selecting these organisations have been prepared. A separate website will be created for registration of candidates. Selected candidates will be paid charges for applying for a passport and other facilities. We are aiming to complete this process by September.”
