Pune: 19-year-old domestic help dies by suicide in Hadapsar

Pune: A 19-year-old died by suicide at the Agrawal Ganga Residency in Hadapsar on Sunday (March 7), the police informed. The deceased has been identified as Tabu Sheikh (19), resident of Pandharemala, Hadapsar. An accidental death has been registered at Hadapsar police station in this regard.

According to Hadapsar police Sub-inspector Sagar Poman, Tabu Sheikh was working as a housemaid in Ganga Residency Society. On Sunday, she attempted suicide and was later rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. The doctors pronounced her dead upon arrival. Hadapsar police rushed to the spot upon receiving information about the incident. Hadapsar police are further investigating the case.
