Cervical problems, back pain, migraine, knee pain, spinal issues sound so normal these days.
In the last few years, some serious problems like knee pain and slipped disc have also been observed among very young aged working people. Slipped disc problem may occur due to various reasons.

Sometimes, the main reason for the cause is due to making some difficult moves like bending down in a wrong position or sitting for long hours in the office. It can also hit you while doing some regular and common activities in your daily routine such as changing poses during sleep, driving for long hours and sitting in a wrong posture for long hours.

Have we ever wondered why we have become prone to these problems? Have we given thought to the reason?

It could be our workplace, the place where we spend a maximum of hours, days and years of our life.
No matter how much you try keeping yourself up to the mark in work, fashion, looks and social activities but if one is not fit from inside, one cannot give their best in any of the above. Neurospine problems have become common these days regardless of your age.

“Sitting for prolonged periods of time can be a major cause of back pain, cause increased stress of the back, neck, arms and legs and can add a tremendous amount of pressure to the back muscles and spinal discs. The most common cause of lower back pain is postural stress. For this reason, lower back pain is frequently brought on by sleeping in the wrong position, prolonged bending, heavy lifting, or even standing or laying down in a poor, rounded-back position,” said Dr Arvind G Kulkarni, Head of Mumbai Spine Scoliosis & Disc Replacement Centre at Bombay Hospital in Mumbai

“Most working people experience jerk in their knee while getting up from your chair in the office. Such little pains here and there in the joints across the body that gives sometimes mild and other times severe pain. For those who are working in corporate and especially for elders, the conditions are every grave because of their long sitting positions and less activity. Even the young generation is becoming a victim of joints pains due to long sitting hours in the office and less physical activity. There are a number of other contributing factors too, the understanding of which can make us aware and avoid such troubling physical inabilities,” said Dr Sanjay Aggarwala, Head-Orthopedics & Traumatology at PD Hinduja National Hospital in Mumbai.
