Pimpri: Congress City President Sachin Sathe resigns

Pimpri : Pimpri-Chinchwad city Congress president Sachin Sathe has suddenly resigned from his post. Sathe told a press conference that he was being relieved of responsibility for personal reasons. In the last fifteen years, the Congress in the city has not received justice. He is also rumored to have resigned after contesting the Assembly elections.
Sathe had been leading the city congress for the past six years. He was given the responsibility of the party during the bad condition of congress. He kept the party alive in the city through various agitations. After the change of powers in the state, Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress formed a government. The governor was to nominate for the appointed Legislative Council. In it, the Congress wanted an opportunity for MLA to increase the organization in the city. However, the MLAs do not include Congress members from the city. Therefore, city president Sathe has resigned. Former Mayor Kavichand Bhat, former Congress state president Shyamla Sonawane, women president Girija Kudale, Seva Dal’s Sangram Tayde, Vishnapant Newale, Shyam Agarwal and Rajabhau Golande were present at the press conference.
I have been working for the party in the city for the last 24 years from the student youth organization, working as the city president for the last 6 years, I’m being relieved of this responsibility for personal reasons. The party will continue to work faithfully. I had definitely asked for a candidature for the Legislative Council. But did not get the opportunity.
