Each year on an average only one journalist gets a Pulitzer prize which is awarded to the journalists for their performance and one hundred get shot out of a conspiracy.

According to reports, 93% of journalists who killed every year are males and are locals whereas 7% are females and are foreign correspondents. And, out of 100%, only 10% cases of murder of journalists are solved.

This index has once again proved that the lives of journalists are in danger specially in India.
