Npnews24 online, Bulandshahr: Under the Swacch Bharat Mission, several toilets were built in Uttar Pradesh and used tiles that had a picture of Mahatma Gandhi and the national emblem.

 

 

Tiles with Images of Gandhi and the national emblem found plastered on the walls of toilet in Ichhawari village of Bulandshahr’s.

These tiles were set up on the orders of the village head, when the district administration officials examined, they found 13 toilets built in Bulandshahr’s Ichhawari village that had tiles with national symbols.

 

Around 508 toilets were built under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and out of them 13 tiles were found with symbol of Mahatma Gandhi and Ashoka Chakra.

 

After the investigation, rural development officer was suspended and notice was served to Gram Pradhan Savitri Devi.
