Nashik: Police rescue 5-year-old, arrest mother’s boyfriend

Nashik: Bhadrakali police rescued a five-year-old from the clutches of her mother’s boyfriend after she was abducted by him. The man was reportedly raged after the woman broke up with him and abducted her 5-year-old. The woman had lodged a complaint with Bhadrakali police in Nashik.

According to the police, the concerned woman had an affair with the accused Ganesh Kedare (resident of Mhasrul). Ganesh forcibly took the woman’s daughter with him after the woman broke up with him. The woman went to bring her daughter home, that time, he beat her up.

Tired of this, the woman approached Constables Sheru Pathan and Santosh Sanap of Bhadrakali police station and informed them about the incident. Constables along with female homeguard Sangeeta Jadhav rescued the 5-year-old from the accused and arrested him in the case.

The accused is a notorious criminal and has many cases registered against him at various police stations, including Panchavati Police station, the woman informed the police. The police have arrested Ganesh and registered a case against him
