Minor attacked with sickle due to old quarrel between friends

Pune : NpNews24 Online  –Pune Crime News | Three persons attempted to kill a 17-year-old boy by attacking him with a sickle, out of anger over a month-old fight between friends. (Pune Crime News)

In this case, Rohit Kailas Adhav (17) from Kirkatwadi has lodged a complaint at the Sinhagad Road Police Station. Accordingly the police have registered a case of attempt to murder against Sajan Shah, Mayur Polekar and Akshay Walhekar. The incident took place near Umbrya Ganapati Chowk in Dhayari at 10 o’clock on Friday night.

According to the police, the complainant works as a caterer. He, his brother Roshan Adhav, friends Vishal Jadhav and Bhima Jadhav were having a conversation. There was a fight between the complainant’s friend Rohit Rathod and Sajan Shah’s friend Prashant Kamble a month ago. Out of the anger of this quarrel, the accused beat the complainant. Sajan Shah tried to attack the complainant in his head with the sickle. The complainant stopped it with his hand and got serious injuries to the finger of the right hand, near the wrist. Rohit is undergoing treatment and API Chandanshiv is conducting further investigation.
