MCOCA operation against the leader of Bakasur gang and his 16 other members

Satara : NpNews24 Online  –  Satara Crime | The Maharashtra Police has taken action against the Bakasur gang, which has established its hold in the crime world of Satara by extorting money from shopkeepers and rich people. Bakasur gang leader Yash Naresh Jambhale and his 16 accomplices have been booked under the MCOCA Act. This action will deter criminal activities in Satara city. (Satara Crime)

 

Satara District Police Chief Sameer Sheikh had given instructions to take strict action against gangsters in Satara. Many complaints have been lodged against the gangsters of the Bakasura gang. Therefore, the police have taken action against them. The gang demanded extortion from Aryan Vishal Kadale, a young man from Satara. But Kadale had filed a case of robbery against this gang without giving money. Due to this, the gang threatened Aryan to pay double the ransom. However, for non-payment, Yash Jambhale and his gang went to Kadale’s area and stabbed him with a knife in broad daylight. They tried to kill him.

 

In order to control this gang, Police Inspector Sanjay Patange of Shahupuri Police Station collected information about the crimes filed against this gang and initiated action against Yash Jambhale and 16 others under the Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act (MCOCA) through the district police chief of Kolhapur area. The proposal was submitted to Special Inspector General of Police Manoj Kumar Lohia.

 

Gang chief Yash Naresh Jambhale, Rahul Sampat Barge, Tetya alias Gaurav Ashok Bhise, Rushikesh alias Shubham Hanmant Sathe, Aniket Uday Mane, Aditya Sudhir Jadhav, Shantanu Rajendra Pawar,
Aniket Subhash Parshi, Pinya alias Sunil Manikrao Shirtode, an unidentified youth and 7 children involved in legal conflicts have been booked under MCOCA.
