MAT provides relief to former Haveli Tahsildar Trupti Kolte Patil; Cancels her suspension

Pune : NpNews24 Online  – Trupti Kolte Patil | The Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal (MAT) Court has issued an order cancelling the suspension of former Tahsildar of Haveli Trupti Kolte Patil of December 9, 2022 saying that she should be appointed at the same place where she was working earlier, in two weeks. The order has been issued by MAT Judge AP Kurhekar which has given relief to Trupti Kolte-Patil. (Trupti Kolte Patil)

The state government transferred the forest land located at survey number 62 in Hadapsar to a private individual during the tenure of Trupti Kolte Patil. The money spent during the corona pandemic was not according to rules and there were several discrepancies. An allegation had been levelled against her that she had violated rules while allocating land. Since complaints were received against Trupti Kolte Patil during the election process, she had been suspended. Kolte Patil had approached the MAT against her suspension. Ad Arvind Bandivadekar argued on Kolte Patil’s behalf.

The judge has stated in the judgement that the action regarding the land at survey number 62 at Hadapsar was taken as per the orders issued by Revenue Minister Chandrakant Patil. A second order of the same day is available. When the order was received by her, Kolte Patil had registered an FIR. She immediately carried out the corrections and transferred the land to the government. The action taken during the coronavirus pandemic was correct and there is no time to float tenders.

The action taken regarding the land was taken as per the letter sent by the concerned government official and there is no question of violation of rules. The registration of voters for the elections is a continuous process and tahsildar is assistant polling registration officer, the MAT order states.
