Maratha Kranti Morcha to trigger outside of Sharad Pawar’s Residence in Baramati

Sharad Pawar, president of the Nationalist Congress Party had said that the Marathas should be given the reservation, later in his statement when the issue came on the economic status, he had said that the reservation should be allotted on economic status and at last he had said that the government should make changes in constitution. Pawar has been accused by ruling parties of not having done anything for the Maratha community while in power and now, trying to create confusion in the society on this issue.

Maratha community leaders are now targeting Sharad Pawar on his contradict statements. These three totally opposite statements have disappointed Maratha community and they have demanded an answer that what actually he has meant to say. They have said that they will perform Thiyya Movement in front of Pawar’s residence in Baramati.

If senior leader Pawar announces support to the Maratha community, he should give reservation on economic criteria in the country. The Maratha community has now set up a protest rally in front of Pawar’s residence in Baramati, due to the paranoia which created due to double sided and uncertain behaviour of Pawar, and he will be asked to reveal about the actual fact.

The Constitution provides reservations for backward communities. While the government’s efforts are going on under the report of the State Backward Class Commission to give reservation to the Maratha community, double-talked statements made by Pawar has expressed dissatisfaction with the political circles from time to time.

As a result of this, a protest will be made for the demand of reservation for Maratha community in front of Baramati taluka on behalf of Maratha Kranti Morcha, in front of the entrance of Sharad Pawar’s residence.

The Thiyya Movement will be held from 9 am to 12 pm in the city on Thursday (August 9) and office bearers of all the organizations of Maratha community in the taluka and youth and social workers from various fields will participate.

After abolishing the issue of Maratha reservation from Ashadhi Ekadashi in the state and violent turn of the movement in the major cities of the state, Pawar suggested corrective measures for the reservation. However, Narayan Rane commented on Pawar’s statement saying that the question of reservation will be solved in three months; Subsequently, the issue of reservation became a matter of political prestige for Pawar.
