“Main Nahin Hum” app to be launched by PM Modi

New Delhi: NP NEWS 24 ONLINE – Prime Minister Narendra Modi to launch the “Main Nahin Hum” portal and app on Wednesday, and interact with IT and electronic manufacturing professionals across India on the occasion of the launch.

The portal, which works on the theme “Self4Society”, will enable IT professionals and organisations to bring together their efforts towards social causes and service to society on one platform.

The portal is expected to help catalyse greater collaboration towards the service of the weaker sections of society, especially by leveraging the benefits of technology. It is also expected to generate wider participation of interested people who are motivated to work for the benefit of society.

Prime Minister Modi will meet with key industry leaders and address a gathering consisting of IT professionals, and employees of IT and electronic manufacturing organisations in a town hall-style format.

IT and electronic manufacturing professionals from about 100 locations across India are expected to join the event via video conference.

Earlier, PM donated Rs 1000 to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) through Narendra Modi app and urged people to contribute to the party. The prime minister in a tweet said that he urged everyone to spread the message of transparency in public life.

“You can contribute any amount from Rs. 5/- to Rs. 1000/- via the ‘Narendra Modi Mobile App.’ Your support and contribution will strengthen the resolve of our Karyakartas to serve the nation,” Modi tweeted. The move comes days after the Aam Aadmi Party launched a campaign to gather funds through a door to door campaign.

Shah too called upon his party’s workers and well-wishers to donate any amount between Rs 5 and Rs 1,000 to the organisation, even as he posted the receipt of his contribution on Twitter.
