Maharashtra : Eleven crows found dead in Mumbai, Samples sent for testing

Mumbai : The risk of bird flu is increasing continuously in India. Now 11 crows were found dead on Sunday in the Chembur area of Mumbai. Two samples have been sent for testing. This information has been given by Maharashtra RCF Police.

Earlier on Saturday, more than 1200 birds were found dead across India including 900 birds at a poultry farming center in Maharashtra. With this, the Center said that bird flu has also been confirmed in Uttar Pradesh and now the number of states related to this disease has increased to seven.

The center said that samples of dead birds have been sent to Delhi, Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra for examination. Only after their report, there can be any confirmation of whether there is a bird flu or not. Among the states where confirmed cases of bird flu are Kerala, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana and Gujarat, besides Uttar Pradesh.

900 chickens died in Maharashtra
There is a possibility of bird flu knocking in Maharashtra too. As many as 900 chickens died at a poultry farm in Murumba village in Parbhani district of Maharashtra. Parbhani District Collector Deepak Mulgikar said on Saturday that samples of dead chickens have been sent for investigation to find out the reason behind their deaths.

He said that about 900 chickens have been killed in two consecutive days in Murumba village. This poultry farm is operated by a self-help group. The farm has about 8,000 birds.

Symptoms of bird flu –
Bird flu affected patients have high fever.
The Patient also starts having phlegm.
Body feels stiff with pain.
Headaches and sometimes vomiting along with a runny nose.
