Maha CM’s fandas on sports, Think for teamwork than selfishness

PUNE: NPEWS24 ONLINE- “Those are the real winners, who play just for the team’s victory, instead of individual performances or selfish interests,” said by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday at Pune.

CM Fadnavis who was in Pune city for the inauguration of CM Chashak 2018 at Laxmi Lawns in Magarpatta, Hadapsar area.

Fadnavis addressing his speech to the youth wing of the Bhartiya Janta Party  (BJP) better known as Bhartiya Janta Party’s Yuva Morcha (BJPYM). By referring to the game, he talked about the upcoming elections.

On this occasion, Mayor Mukta Tilak, Guardian Minister Girish Bapat, Co-Minister Subhash Deshmukh, State Minister Dilip Kamble, MP Anil Shirole, MLA Madhuri Misal, MLA Yogesh Tilekar, Standing committee president Yogesh Mulik, leader of the house Srinath Bhimale and others were present.

‘Some games play individually, whereas some plays in the team. In the case of team-based games can be win by cooperating to each other. Teamwork and strength of unity cause to win the games rather than individual performance. In society, when everyone thinks of going forward together, then society goes ahead,’ said by Fadnavis.

CM Fadnavis said that “Government has given second-class jobs to 32 players, who have won medals at international level. Therefore players should only focus on their performances and do not have to worry about their life as the government is standing behind them.” Apart from this, he remembered the Swami Vivekananda’s quote ‘Go for playing the football, instead of going to temple for praying!’

Indian players have created their own identity and respected worldwide. Our players have own maximum medals in Asian games and commonwealth games too. And now, preparing for the Olympic games, so it is expected that India will win maximum medals in Olympic 2020, expressed by Fadnavis.

Before that, he felicitated the players Manoj Pinnacle, Rekha Bhide, Hemant Takalkar, Tejswini Savant, Dasharath Jadhav, Shreerang Inamdar etc.

BJP’s Youth Target :

BJP is trying to reach up to 50 lakhs of youth players within the next 73 days in the name of this Chasak. This is an attempt of BJP for capturing the attention of youths by keeping in mind the upcoming elections.
