Jammu and Kashmir : Encounter Between Security Forces & Terrorists in Baramulla, One Soldier Injured

Srinagar : An encounter between security forces and militants has started in the Yedipora Pattan area of Baramulla in Jammu and Kashmir. A joint team of police and security forces is fighting the terrorists.

A soldier was injured in this encounter with terrorists in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir. Police officials said that the presence of the terrorists was reported in the Pattan area of the district, after which a search operation was being conducted there. During this encounter, a soldier was shot in the encounter, which seriously injured him. He is rushed to the hospital.

A police official said that specific information was found about the militants in Yedipora in the Pattan area of Baramulla district of North Kashmir. The security forces then cordoned off the area and conducted a search operation. During this period, militants hiding in the area started firing on a team of security forces. Soldiers gave a befitting reply to the firing of the terrorists.

During this time an officer of the security force was seriously injured. He has been sent to 92 Base Hospital for treatment. At the same time, the encounter with terrorists continues. Additional security forces have been sent to the area. Further information is awaited in the case.
