Instagram Introduces QR Code Feature, This Is How It Can Be Generated 

Mumbai : Social media platform Instagram has brought a new feature for its users. In Instagram, the company has started supporting QR codes. It was being tested for some time and now it has been released for all users. These QR codes can be scanned from any third party app. With this, you can view anyone’s profile through QR code without having to open Instagram. Instagram QR code was started a year ago in Japan. However, this feature has now been rolled out in other countries.

This will be very useful for people running their business on Instagram. With this, businessmen can prom their business because these days shopping from Instagram is also being done fiercely. This QR code can be printed and can be installed in many places where people can see them like online stores etc. Those who are interested, can scan the QR code and check their business profile on Instagram.

This is how you can generate QR code –
>> To generate the QR code, users have to go to the settings menu on the Instagram profile.
>> There is an option to tap on the QR code, some users may still see the name-tag there but that will change in the QR code itself.
>> As soon as you tap, the image of QR code with your username will be ready.
>> It can also be saved and shared as an image.

Earlier the company had set up a system called Name-tag that could be scanned with an Instagram camera. This feature has now changed to a completely new QR code. People can only scan code and access the information.
