Indian Troops With ‘Shoulder-Fired Air Defence Missiles’ Deployed On Heights Near LAC

New Delhi : India is making concrete preparations on the LAC in view of the India-China standoff. In this sequence, now Indian soldiers have been deployed near China Border equipped with Shoulder-Fired Air Defence Missiles. Indian soldiers can fire these Air Defence Missiles by placing them on the shoulder. Soldiers can target helicopters and drones of enemies who violate Indian airspace.

2 light war helicopters of HAL deployed in Ladakh
Earlier, India has also deployed 2 Light Combat Helicopters along the Ladakh border. These helicopters are built by Hindustan Aeronautical Limited (HAL). It is the lightest combat helicopter in the world which HAL has prepared. This helicopter has been designed according to the need of Indian forces.

Heron drone
A few days ago, news agency ANI quoted a government source that the number of Heron UAVs needed to be increased given the current conditions. For this reason, orders for more number of Heron UAVs are being considered. However, it has not been told how many herons will be ordered.

Anti tank missile
On the other hand, the Army is also considering buying spike anti-tank guided missiles from Israel. A consignment of these missiles came to India even after the Balakot air strike. Last time, the army had received 12 launchers and 200 spike missiles. Sources say that now we are considering increasing the number of anti-tank missiles. Meanwhile DRDO is also preparing portable anti-tank guided missiles. It is being said that through this project of DADO, the army will be able to supply these missiles in bulk. Apart from this, the process of buying Spice 2000 bombs has already been started by the army.
