Indian origin wrestle and his partner released from WWE

New Delhi: Indian WWE fans will be disappointed as WWE has dismissed two superstars out of the way. It has released a Punjabi Wrestler of Indian origin and its partner. Both wrestlers were tag team champions, fans won’t see them back in a WWE ring. WWE has released both the stars of the ‘Author of Pain’ team i.e. Ekam and Rezar .

Ekam, an Indian-origin Canadian entered WWE in 2014. In 2015, he created panic after coming to NXT. Indian fans were impressed by wrestlers speaking in Punjabi while entering the ring. He made Rezar his partner after the entry and then took the title of the NXT Championship.

They got extremely popular for their game in the league. After this, both entered as a tag team in Raw. They also won the Raw Tag Team Championship by defeating their opponents. However Ekam’s knee was injured. After this he underwent knee surgery and due to this he stayed away from the WWE ring for a long time. He was last seen in March.

The real name of Punjabi Wrestler Ekam of Indian origin is Sunny Singh Dhimsa. Ekam speaks excellent Punjabi. He has also been seen speaking Punjabi many times in the WWE ring. His partner, Rezar, is based in Albania, Netherlands. His real name is Gijim Selmani.

 

Rezar has also performed in MMA before WWE. He won 8 times in just 15 years and had to face defeat 2 times. However, he entered the WWE after that. But after the recent decision taken by WWE, the pair will no longer be seen in the ring.
