IAS Dr. Anil Ramod | Ambadas Danve says Revenue Minister Radhakrishna Patil wrote a letter to CM seeking extension for Dr Anil Ramod

MUMBAI : NpNews24 Online  –  IAS Dr. Anil Ramod | A shocking information has come to light about Additional Divisional Commissioner Dr Anil Ramod who has been arrested for accepting a bribe of ₹8 lakh for ensuring more compensation for land acquisition in Solapur district. Senior BJP leader and Revenue Minister Radhakrishna Patil had written a letter to CM Shinde that Ramod should not be transferred out of Pune division. Opposition leader Ambadas Danve has tweeted the letter and targeted Vikhe Patil.

Ambadas Danve said, “IAS officer Dr Anil Ramod is in jail after being arrested by CBI for accepting a bribe of ₹8 lakh. Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil’s connection has come to the fore. The minister had written a recommendation letter to the CM that Ramod should not be transferred from Pune division. Vikhe Patil had written a letter to the CM that Ramod should be given an extension of one year in Pune. The letter was written by Patil on June 1. Ramod was working as Additional Divisional Commissioner and patil had written the letter seeking an extension for Ramod.”

 

It remains to be seen what will be the reply of Vikhe Patil to allegations levelled by Danve.
Dr Anil Ramod was arrested by CBI on June 10. Since then, Ramod is in judicial custody for many days. As per CBI’s demand, the suspension proposal submitted by the divisional commissionerate, has been approved by the government. The suspension order states that Ramod should not leave Pune without taking the permission of the divisional commissioner and do not work in a private company or do business.
