I rescued bow and arrow symbol which had been mortgaged with Congress and NCP, says CM Eknath Shinde

Pune : NpNews24 Online  –  Pune Kasba Peth Bypoll Election | CM Eknath Shinde conducted a road show on Friday as a part of campaign of BJP-Shiv Sena candidate Hemant Rasane. After the road show, during his speech, Shinde targeted MVA and Uddhav Thackeray over allegations that he had ‘stolen’ Shiv Sena party and the bow and arrow symbol. Uddhav Thackeray had alleged that Eknath Shinde had stolen the party’s name i.e. Shiv Sena and the bow and arrow symbol. Shinde spoke for the first time on the issue. “The bow and arrow symbol had been mortgaged with the Congress and NCP for two and a half years and I have rescued it,” Shinde said while castigating MVA and Uddhav Thackeray.

“I thank all voters in the Kasba Peth constituency because they have blessed us wholeheartedly. They have given their blessings to Hemant Rasane. The voters will vote en masse for Hemant Rasane on February 26 and elect Rasane with a huge margin and I am confident about this scenario,” Shinde said.

“Our old leaders conducted an online meeting. We thought that they would improve their behaviour after losing power but they preferred to be online. Someone may have told them that it will not help if they visit Kasba Peth because their candidate will not be elected from here,” he added.
