Husband, in-laws murder married woman in Chikhali for not bringing money from parents to buy luxurious car, booked

The murdered married woman has been identified as Shweta Praveen Jadhav (27). A case has been filed against husband Praveen Kaluram Jadhav (30), father-in-law Kaluram Vitthal Jadhav, mother-in-law Pramila Kaluram Jadhav, all from Jadhavwadi. Shweta’s father Somnath Haribhau Hole from Wanawadi lodged a complaint at the Chikhali Police Station. The incident came to light on Saturday.

According to the police, Shweta and Praveen got married in 2017. They have a five-year-old son. Praveen owns a grocery store at Jadhavwadi.

Shweta was harassed by her in-laws and her husband to bring money to invest in his shop and to buy a luxury four-wheeler. They doubted her character. Shweta was strangled by her husband Praveen. She was admitted to the hospital. Her in-laws told others that she had fainted. Doctors examined Shweta and declared her dead. The autopsy report revealed that Shweta was strangled to death. The police have registered a case against the three.
