Historical wrong has been corrected: Ram Lalla counsel

New Delhi, Nov 9 (IANS) “A historical wrong has been corrected”, said a senior lawyer of the Hindu side after the Supreme Court on Saturday ruled in favour of a temple in the Ayodhya title dispute case.Speaking to IANS, senior advocate P S Narasimha, who represented Ram Lalla Virajman, said: “Hindus were praying at the Ram Janambhoomi before the mosque was constructed. And after the mosque was constructed, they continue to pray till date. This is a great judgement…A historical wrong has been corrected.”A five-judge bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi ruled in favour of the Hindu side.”The Centre shall, within three months, formulate a scheme under the Ayodhya Act 1993. This scheme will have a Trust for management and construction of temple. Inner courtyard, which Hindus believe the birthplace of Lord Ram, and the outer courtyard be handed over to the Trust. Centre to give rest of the land to Trust,” said the bench giving the 2.77 acre disputed land to the Hindu side.Celebrating their victory the lawyers of the Hindu side posed for a group picture outside the Chief Justice courtroom in the Supreme Court premises.–IANSss/rn/skp/
