Here is the reason why Lalu Yadhav’s son file divorce case

NP NEWS 24 ONLINE –Tej Pratap Yadav, son of Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad, on Saturday confirmed that he had filed for divorce from his wife of six months Aishwarya Rai. He had filed the divorce papers on October 2.

“It is true that I have filed a petition. Ghut-ghut ke jeene se toh koi fayeda hai nahi (No point living a life of misery), Tej Pratap Yadav was quoted saying.

Earlier, Tej Pratap’s lawyer cited ‘incompatibility’ as the reason for the divorce. “I cannot give much details. I was only told by my client that he and his wife were not compatible and hence he wanted a divorce,” lawyer Yashwant Kumar Sharma said.

According the sources, Tej Pratap has cited compatibility issues as the reason for the divorce petition. His lawyer confirmed the same. “They couldn’t get along. Application under Hindu Marriage Act was filed through me on behalf of Tej Pratap Yadav. I can’t say anything else at this moment,” Yashwant Kumar Sharma was quoted as saying by ANI.

After filing the petition, Tej Pratap reportedly went to meet his father Lalu Prasad, who is at the Rajendra Institute of Medical Science (RIMS) in Ranchi.

The development comes months after it was speculated that Aishwarya would be entering politics soon. There were talks that Aishwarya, who also belongs to a political family, would be fielded from Saran in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls. Aishwarya Rai is the daughter of RJD leader Chandrika Rai and granddaughter of former Bihar chief minister Daroga Prasad Rai.

The high-profile wedding in Patna was attended by more than 10,000 guests. It was marred by a ‘food riot’ that had broken out at the venue, with reports of RJD supporters looting food and decoration items.
