Gujarat: Decision on schools reopening will be taken after December 15

Gandhinagar : Parents are waiting for the next orders of government on opening of school-college after the state government postponed its decision to reopen it from November 23. However, the state government is not ready to consider the issue of reopening the school-college till December 15 as the cases of Covid-19 are on the rise and even if the situation improves later, it is not possible to reopen the school-college by the end of December, top official sources said.

The case of Covid-19 has escalated after the state government postponed the announcement of the date of reopening of schools and colleges on the 23rd. In these circumstances, it has been decided to keep the educational institutes closed. After this decision, no consideration has been given by the state government on whether to open the school-college or not. Some parents-teachers also inquired with the state government on the issue.

Top sources said that the government is not ready to conduct the process of getting the votes of the administrators, parents or even the process of getting the votes of the administrators to open the school till December 15. According to sources, at the present stage, the government is not ready to carry out educational work in the school till December. In the meantime, after reviewing the case of Covid-19 for a month and seeing the status of the vaccine, it seems that the government is ready for further action.
