Gujarat Statue of Unity : Elephant leg shaped tree brought from Mexico becomes centre of attraction

Kevadia: While tourist destinations are being developed near the Statue of Unity, a Mexican tree named Noli has been brought to Arogya Van, which is attracting a lot of tourists.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated 12 projects in Kevadia on October 30. There is also a tree called Noli inside the Arogya Van. The peculiarity of this tree is that it is an indoor plant and this tree does not need much water and its shape is like the feet of an elephant. The tree is now a major tourist attraction. Tourists also take selfies with the tree. This tree named Noli is 26 years old, yet it still looks very young and this tree lives for more than a hundred years.

Another peculiarity is that its height does not increase and the attraction of this medium size tree is huge among the tourists. The leaves of this tree are used in making bouquets and if these leaves are used for home decoration, they do not dry for even 25 years, this is its specialty. When Prime Minister Narendra Modi came here for the inauguration, he too got information about this tree and was very impressed.
