Good News Amid COVID-19 Crisis, ‘These’ 5 Indian States Became Free of Coronavirus

Itanagar : Coronavirus has caused outrage all over the world. Thousands are dying every day in the country and abroad. The death toll in America has reached close to 60 thousand. In India, so far  939 people have lost their lives here from Corona. 29458 people have been found Corona positive. In which 7,137 people have been cured. Meanwhile, a good news has also come out.

Five states of the Northeast have become corona free. Union Minister Jitendra Singh said that out of the eight states of the Northeast, 5 are completely free of Coronavirus and the remaining three states have not been exposed to any new cases of infection for the past several days. Jitendra Singh is also the Minister of Development of North Eastern Region. He held a meeting with the Northeast Council and senior officials through video conference.

These 5 states became Corona free –
Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur and Tripura are the five states of Northeast which are completely free of corona virus. Apart from this, eight, 11 and one cases of Coronavirus were reported in 3 other states Assam, Meghalaya and Mizoram respectively. Jitendra Singh congratulated the state governments, chief ministers and officials of his ministry and the council for ensuring excellent coordination.

The Union Minister also discussed proposals received from states like Mizoram, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh and Manipur regarding new health projects for the care of Coronavirus patients and management of infections.
