Pune : NpNews24 Online – S. Balan Cup T20 League | In the fourth S Balan Cup T20 League Inter Club cricket 2023 competition which has been organised by the Punit Balan Group, the final will be played between Punit Balan Group and Pune Police. (S. Balan Cup T20 League)
In the event being held at the Shinde High School ground at Sahakar Nagar, Pune Police team defeated Hemant Patil Cricket Academy by 61 runs on the basis of all-round performance of Parikshit. Batting first, Pune Police had scored 197 runs. Rahul Desai (60), Parikshit (43), Karan Shah (25) and Avdhoot Dandekar (25) contributed to the team’s innings. Chasing the target, the Hemant Patil Cricket Academy could score only 136 runs. Yash D (3-21), Parikshit (2-29) and Amol Paigude (2-21) bowled well to take the team to victory.
The Punit Balan Group team defeated the Hedge and Satches team and entered the final. Batting first, Punit Balan Group scored 152 runs. Digvijay Jadhav (49), Siddharth Mhatre (32) and Omkar Khatpe (25) put on valuable runs for the team. Ashwin Shukla (4-27) and Hitesh Walunj (2-18) of Pune Police bowled accurately. Before their score, the Hedge and Satches team could score only 91 runs.
