Former Cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin accused of money fraud, FIR lodged

NP NEWS 24 : Aurangabad : Three people, including former cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin of the Indian team, have been accused of cheating a travel agent Mohammad Shadab for Rs 20 lakh. An FIR has been registered in this case in Aurangabad. On Wednesday, the police said that the investigation of this case is going on. The case has been registered on the complaint of ‘Danish Tour and Travels’ owner Mohammad Shadab. According to the complaint, from November 9 to November 12, 2019, Avikkal had booked and canceled several foreign tickets for Azharuddin and himself. Shadab is also a former Jet Airways executive.

According to reports, police officer AD Nagre, who is investigating the matter, said that on the first information, a case has been registered against Mujib Khan, who hails from Aurangabad, Sudhish Avikkal (Kerala) and Mohammad Azharuddin (Hyderabad). At the moment no one has been arrested.

Azharuddin’s personal secretary Mujib Khan, on behalf of Avikkal, had asked to give the ticket money to Shadab later. But despite this, they have not received the ticket money yet.
