FDA orders to stop sweets manufacturing unit

Npnews24 online, Pimpri Chichwad: The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) unit has directed a factory located in Purandar to stop manufacture and sale of sweets for violating public safety guidelines.

The factory manufactures gulab jamun made from refined wheat flour and barfi made from gram flour as well as cakes.

For not following the cleanliness standard and conducting business without license.

In the FDA inspection it was found that manufacturing unit of sweet failed to produce water analysis report. Soon after that FDA issue order to stop production and sale of the products till they will not rectify these shortcomings.
