Pune: DRDO Scientist Kurulkar | Consent is not required for Vice Layer Analysis and Psychological Test. Only polygraph and lie detector tests require permission, said the public prosecutor in Pune Court on Friday. The public prosecutor said that nothing will be used against the accused. I don’t know what he is hiding and afraid of? After the tests it will be known. The prosecutor on Friday presented in the court why the vice layer and psychological tests are required by the government. The next hearing in this case will be held on August 2.
Meanwhile the Pune Anti-Terrorrism Squad (ATS) submitted the application regarding permission to conduct Polygraph Test and Vice Layer Analysis Test of Dr.Kurulkar.
Special Public Prosecutor Vijay Fargade demanded that Kurulkar be tested. However, Kurulkar has refused to undergo the Polygraph and Vice Layer Test demanded by the ATS.
The defense had argued in court that Kurulkar permission was necessary for these tests.
After the defense argument the court asked the ATS officials what is the Vice Layer Test and what is it done for also who has gone for this test before. However, the ATS officials could not provide sufficient information.
The Additional Sessions Judge S.B.Kachare asked to answer the questions raised before the trial hearing. Accordingly, Public Prosecutor Fargade has submitted a written explanation to the court as to why vice layer analysis and psychological testing is necessary.
Kurulkar is hiding a lot of information from the investigating officers. It is important to know what information is being hidden. What is he hiding in the vice layer test or is he afraid? It will be known. In this regard, a citation from the Supreme Court was also submitted by the government lawyers. Meanwhile, the defense party has submitted an application to the court to get information about the confidential witnesses in the charge sheet submitted against Kurulkar.
