DRDO Builds UV Blast Tower, Can Make Room Free of Virus in Just 10 Minutes

New Delhi : Coronavirus cases in India is continuously increasing. In such a situation, it is most important to keep places sanitatized and infection free. In such a situation, the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has built an ultraviolet (UV) disinfection tower for quick and chemical free sanitization. This machine has the ability to free 12×12 rooms from the virus in 10 minutes.

A statement issued by the Ministry of Defense on Monday stated that ‘UV Blaster is useful for laboratories, electronic equipment, computers and other high tech surfaces housed in offices, where disinfection by chemical methods is not useful. This product can also be effective in places where people have more presence, such as airports, shopping malls, metros, hotels, factories and offices, etc. It can also be run remotely via WiFi. it will make 400 square feet area virus free in just 30 minutes.’

How UV Blaster Works

UV Blaster has ultra violet lamps. It also has a bottom wheel. It can be used at the airport, railway station, train, hall, house or anywhere. It can be operated via mobile or app. For example, if a coronavirus is to be killed in a hall, the hall will have to be closed by keeping it there. It can be turned on from outside. The coronavirus will be killed shortly. Information about the completion of work on the app or mobile will be revealed. During operation, people will not be able to go near it because it will emit strong rays. This can prove to be harmful to health.
