DGP Jaiswal inaugurates Maharashtra Police E-Learning Centre in Pune

Pune, August 28, 2019 : To keep pace with technological advancement, Maharashtra Police have set up e-learning centre in Pune. It was inaugurated by Director General of Police (DGP) Subodh Kumar Jaiswal at the state police wireless headquarters on Pashan Road, Pune.

Add DGP Retesh Kumaarr, who is director of Police Wireless, said that the learning centre will help 103 police officials to get training at a time. They will be given training about latest communication technologies, computer hardware, software, cyber crimes, various surveillance system and other technical details. Subject matter experts from different domains will be called to share their knowledge with police personnel. Also, the learning centre is connected to all police units, which will help in imparting training through video conferencing also.

State CID chief Atulchandra Kulkarni, Pune Police Commissioner Dr K Venkatesham, state prisons department chief Sunil Ramanand, Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Add CP Ramnath Pokale, Pune rural SP Sandip Patil and other senior officers were also present on the occasion.
