It is not the first time when the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief was targeted despite heavy security around him. In October 2016, a leader of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad or ABVP, a student body linked to the BJP, threw ink at Kejriwal in Rajasthan’s Bikaner.

Earlier this week on Thursday, Reacting to an alleged attack on Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Councillor Jitendra Kumar’s Delhi residence, Arvind Kejriwal Friday questioned the law and order situation of the national capital.

A group of armed men fired bullets at Kumar’s house and threatened to kill him before they left, according to ANI. Kumar, who is the councilor of ward number 83 of South Delhi Municipal Corporation(SDMC), said, “There were 20-25 men. They not only fired bullets but also tried to break in. They threatened to kill me before leaving. It seems to be a politically driven attack. I have filed a written complaint.”
