Delhi : Akshardham Temple Will Open From Today, Major Things To Keep In Mind Before Visit

New Delhi : After a long wait, the doors of Akshardham Swaminarayan temple are going to open on Tuesday (October 13, 2020). Keeping the risk of Coronavirus infection spread in view, after the nationwide lockdown announced on March 24, the doors of Akshardham temple will open for the first time to devotees. For the last 6 months, the Akshardham temple was closed for common devotees.

However, this arrangement is still limited for the devotees. According to the information, devotees can visit the Akshardham temple in the evening between 5:00 to 6:30. No entry will be given to the devotees in the temple after 6:30 pm. The time to close the temple has been fixed at 8:15 pm.

It will be mandatory for the devotees to wear masks all the time while going to the temple. Apart from this, thermal checking will also be done at the entry gate. Everyone has to keep a sanitizer with them and follow the rules of social distancing.

Apart from this, the Akshardham temple has been opened for darshan but the famous zaanki, exhibition and abhishek mandap will be kept closed. In order to keep people safe in view of Corona, only the temple has been opened for darshan.

But following the rules of social distancing in Akshardham temple, the water show is being opened from Tuesday (October 13, 2020). Significantly, a large number of devotees flock to see the famous water show named Sahaj Anand in the Akshardham temple.
