COVID19: Maharashtra CM bans gathering on political, religious and social events

Mumbai : In view of the increasing cases of Coronavirus in Maharashtra, the gathering has been banned in political, religious and social events in the state. Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has announced this new ban for Corona on Sunday. Uddhav Thackeray said on Monday that whether the second wave of coronavirus has come to the state or not, it will be cleared in two weeks.

Uddhav Thackeray said on Sunday that the fight against coronavirus disease is similar to World War One and that masks are an effective shield against infection. Addressing the state, Uddhav Thackeray said that we want to keep everything open, but covid19 cases are increasing. The CM said that in the last two weeks there has been a sharp increase in new cases of corona.

Explain that a week-long lockdown has been imposed in Amravati, Maharashtra, after seeing a rapid increase in new cases of coronavirus. On Saturday, 806 new cases of coronavirus were reported in Amravati, which was second only to Mumbai. At the same time, 897 new cases of coronavirus were registered in Mumbai on Saturday.

At the same time, a total of 1726 new cases were reported on Saturday and 12 people died in Akola Division, which includes Amravati District and Amravati Municipal Corporation. In Amravati, 82 cases were reported on 16 February while the number of new patients reached 230 a day later on 17 February. After which the decision was taken to put a lockdown in the district from 8 pm on Saturday from 7 am.

The cases of coronavirus infection in Maharashtra increased for the fifth consecutive day in Maharashtra on Saturday. 6281 new cases were reported in the state on Saturday, which is the highest in the last 85 days. After this, the total number of infected cases has increased to 2093913 in the state.
