Coronavirus : UPI App Offers Insurance Cover of Rs. 50 Thousand, Premium Only Rs. 156

New Delhi : Coronavirus has caused panic all over the world. Thousands of deaths are occurring every day due to this epidemic. Now its direct impact is visible in India. Currently, there are 1906 corona positive patients in the country. While 53 people have died so far. The central and state governments have taken several important steps in view of the Corona crisis. Meanwhile, ‘PhonePe’ has announced the launch of an insurance policy for treatment of coronovirus on Wednesday.

Insurance cover of Rs. 50 thousand rupees only at Rs. 156
The digital payment platform PhonePe has announced the launch of an insurance policy called ‘Corona Care’. The premium for this policy is Rs. 156 and it provides an insurance cover of Rs. 50,000 for a person under 55 years. The cover is applicable to any hospital for the treatment of corona.

Apart from this, the policy covers expenses before 30 days of hospitalization and post-care medical treatment. Customers do not need any medical test to buy the policy and this can be done at the customers’ home. PhonePe said on this that the process would take only two minutes and the policy document would be released to the customers immediately on the app
