College of military engineering celebrates its platinum jubilee by showcasing paramotor and sky diving display at Dighi

A Splendid and breathtaking paramotor and skydiving display by Paratroopers of the Corps of Engineers and Akash Ganga team of the Indian Air Force was held at Dighi hills on 27 September 2018 to commemorate 75 glorious years of the College of Military Engineering. The event was conducted under the aegis of Adventure Cell Headquarter Southern Command.

The event commenced with Paratroopers carrying out static line para jump from AN 32 aircraft from an altitude of 1250 feet. This was followed by free fall sky diving jumps by Paratroopers of Corps of Engineers and Akash Ganga team of the Indian Armed Forces, from an altitude of 20,000 feet. The sky divers proudly displayed the Indian Army and College of Military Engineering flags during their descent and subsequent landing.

The paramotor team led by Major Arnnav Bahuguna of CME was flagged off from Agra on 15 September 2018 and covered 1250 Kilometers displaying their skills and expertise at nine different locations before reaching Pune where they were flagged in by Lieutenant General Michael Mathews, VSM**, Commandant College of Military Engineering.
