Businessman Anand Bajaj passed away at the age of 41

Anand Bajaj (41), business magnate and son of Bajaj Electricals Chairman Shekhar Bajaj passed away at Mumbai around 6pm on Friday.

According to reports, Anand suffered a cardiac arrest and last rites were performed at Chandanwadi crematorium in Kalbadevi at around 10.30am on Saturday. He is left behind with Mother Kiran, Wife, son and sister. The industry sector is shocked due to Bajaj’s demise.

Anand was born on May 18, 1977 in Mumbai. He took his graduation from Hasaram Rujumal College of Commerce and Economics while he completed his Master’s Degree P. Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai. Also, in 2013, he completed Honor President’s Management at Howard Business School.

In 1999, Anand started his career as a project coordinator in Bajaj Electricals. He played an important role in raising the company’s plant in Rajangaon in 2001. Later, he was appointed as General Manager.

Due to his calibre he was appointed as Executive Director of Bajaj Electronics Limited. Two months ago, he was appointed Managing Director of Bajaj Electricals. Anand had a major share in bringing Bajaj as a lightning partner with famous singer Justin Weber. In addition to this, he was also promoted as a sponsor of Bajaj Electricals along with Pro Kabaddi, Badminton World Championship, International Federation of Sport Climbing.

Among his several initiatives, Anand was responsible for setting up an integrated research and development facility under Bajaj Electricals for developing high-tech appliances, as well a digital center in Mumbai with emphasis on real-time monitoring, social listening and IoT analysis.
