BIG NEWS : Half of the Coronavirus Cases in India Has Link to Markaz, Tablighi Jamaat Spread Infection in These 23 States Too!

New Delhi : Coronavirus cases are increasing in the country. According to the data released by the government, most of the figures so far in the country are related to the Tablighi Jamaat program held in Nizamuddin, Delhi. According to the Union Health Ministry, 14,378 cases of corona infection have been reported in the country so far, out of which 4,291, i.e. 29.8 percent cases are related to Tablighi Jamaat alone.

Lav Aggarwal, joint secretary of the Union Ministry of Health, said that due to members of the Tablighi Jamaat, the infection of corona has spread ‘rapidly’ in 23 states of the country. 84 per cent in Tamil Nadu, 63 per cent in Delhi, 79 per cent in Telangana, 61 in Andhra Pradesh, while 59 per cent in Uttar Pradesh are from the infected Tabligi Jamaat or had come into contact with these Jamaat. According to the government, the infection mortality rate in the country is 3.3 percent, which is much lower than many other countries.

The members of the Tablighi Jamaat did not create problems only for India but they have also proved to be major carriers of Coronavirus infection in Pakistan, Malaysia and Brunei. 429 members of Tablighi Jamaat have been found corona positive in Pakistan’s Sindh province. These 429 members attended the annual religious ceremony in Rawalpindi, Punjab province. At the same time, the number of infected members of Tablighi Jamaat in Punjab province of Pakistan has crossed the figure of 1,100.
