After the incident was noticed, the flight was diverted to Mumbai. The incident took place around 1:19 am Friday when the aircraft’s two wheels touched the top part of the boundary wall. Officials suspect that it had overshot the runway. The top portion of the airport boundary wall collapsed following the accident. The aircraft’s antenna was also damaged and its broken parts were found on the ground.
