After Petrol and Diesel, Now CNG prices to rise

The nation is witnessing a hike in prices of petrol and diesel from last few weeks which soring eyes and still to digest the fact, the government is soon planning to slightly increase the CNG prices too.

Still, the citizens are digesting the continues hikes of fuel has set the fire on people pockets. Because of this unbearable hike in prices of fuel, common citizens have to suffer through critical economic condition and it seems that inflation will be striking soon.

After Petrol and Diesel, there is the possibility of an increase in prices of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Piped Natural Gas(PNG). The rate of the PNG gas will be decided in October,  which is used for domestic purpose.

The base price of gas which is produced in the country, may be increased by 14% per unit, means 3.5 dollars per unit ( around 252 rupees). In March 2016, the prices of gas were increased by 3.82 dollars per unit, which was the highest price rise till now.

The prices of Natural gas is decided according to the average prices in America, Britain, Canada, and Russia. The value of rupee has been falling down from last few weeks. Natural gas prices are in Dollars.  The value of the rupee fall down against US Dollar, thus it is going to impact more. Now it is going to affect customers. The in prices of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Piped Natural Gas (PNG)increased for distributors, thus it will more affect the customers.

Fuel price rises and common people:

The hike in fuel prices touched made record in the country. The average price of petrol is becoming 87 rupees per liter. Even in some cities of Maharashtra like Parbhani, it crossed the 90. Petrol and Diesel are the daily needs of every citizen of the country for traveling. Became of this general people have to suffer more, because of their low income.  So people don’t have any option, they have to buy it anyhow.

The rise in prices of Petrol and Diesel triggered criticism on government from every corner of the country.  After the protest by oppositions against this record break fuel price rises, these prices are not coming down.
