After collision, auto-rickshaw burnt; driver injured

PUNE: NP NEWS 24 ONLINE- In Bibwewadi area of Pune, after a massive collision between car and auto-rickshaw, auto-rickshaw started burning leaving the driver ablaze.

After the incident, to save his life the driver who was burning fiercely not knowing what to do started running around the road. The people in the area after watching the driver burning alive  got freaked out unaware of what they must do.

But, soon they helped the fire doze off the driver’s body and save his life. According to the police, the incident took place at 4 pm near the Bharti Jyoti Bus stop in Balewadi area.

The car(MH 12 KJ 4622) and CNG fitted Auto-rickshaw (MH 12 KR 4688) collided to each other creating a ruckus in the area leaving the driver injured.

The collision was so massive that the CNG rickshaw caught fire and it happened so sudden that the driver did not even get time to understand what is happening.

The passengers travelling in the rickshaw somehow managed to get out of the rickshaw and ran for their lives, but the driver was caught ablaze and one of the passengers got minor injuries.

Rickshaw driver, Kishore Gokul Narke(27) has been admitted to the hospital whereas car driver Nilesh Baandal(29) have been arrested by Biblevadi police.
