83 millionaires urge governments to increase their taxes!
London: With 83 millionaires on Monday came with an open letter and urged governments around the world to tax the super-wealthy much more to help fund the global recovery from the coronavirus outbreak.
JUST IN: A group of 83 millionaires, “Millionaires for Humanity” have released a letter asking governments for a PERMANENT tax increase on the wealthiest people in the world, to help economies recover from COVID-19.

Signatories included Ben and Jerry’s ice cream co-founder Jerry Greenfield, the screenwriter Richard Curtis and filmmaker Abigail Disney and many others signed the letter.
The letter read, “As COVID-19 strikes the world; millionaires like us have a critical role to play in healing our world.” The letter was published before the meeting of G20 finance ministers.
As countries scramble to respond to the economic impact of the global pandemic, some have already mooted introducing higher taxes.
