748 Returning Migrant Workers Tests Corona Positive in Bihar, 8 Lakh More to Arrive in Few Days

New Delhi : With the arrival of new cases of coronavirus infection in Bihar, the number of cases of COVID-19 in the state has now increased to 1442 which includes 748 migrant laborers. So far a total of 9350 migrant laborers have been tested. Infections rate is 8 percent.

The maximum cases of coronavirus infection are found in migrant laborers from Delhi. 999 migrant laborers from Delhi were tested in which 243 positives were found at the rate of 24 percent. Similarly, 44 out of 283 (16%) from West Bengal, 176 (12%) out of 1498 came from Maharashtra, 40 out of 473 (8%) came from Haryana and 160 out of 2235 (7%) came from Gujarat tested positive.

So far around 6 lakh migrant laborers have arrived in Bihar. 8 lakh more will come in the next few days.
