43-year-old ends life after killing her two kids in Jalgaon

Jalgaon: A 43-year-old woman killed herself and her two children in Kanashi Shivara in Bhadgaon of Jalgaon district, the police said on Thursday.

The deceased have been identified as Gayatri Dinesh Patil (43), her son Khushwant (10) and daughter Bhairavi (8).

According to the police, Gayatri Patil had gone to her farm in Kanashi Shivara on Wednesday with her two children. In the evening, when she and her children did not return home, relatives and neighbours started looking for them. As some reached the field, they found three bodies floating in a well. The three were rushed to Bhadgaon Rural Hospital where the doctors pronounced them dead on arrival.

Bhadgaon police have registered a case of sudden death and are further investigating the case.
