3 reasons why India lost the match and Australia levels the series

Perth: NP NEWS 24 ONLINE – Australian are known for their fight back and they have done it again by levelling the series by a superb win over tough to beat India. Indian didn’t do anything wrong but I would say that the things were just not going there way. In the match there was 2 sessions in which Australia didn’t lost a single wicket. These were the two session where India lost the match.

Other than that lets see some other reasons why India got defeated by 146 runs.

1. Team Selection

On the morning of day 1 of the test match the spectator actually had to search for the pitch as the pitch was green as the grass on the ground. Right now India has best fast bowling attack which India never had in past. India  captain got tempted to play 4 fast bowler and a spinner Hanuma Vihari. But in the very first session India could not take any wicket.

2. Reading the pitch wrong

This is not the first time Indian captain has failed to read the pitch well. Grass doesn’t always assure you that it will be favourable for faster, this is not the first time it has happened with India. But this time it was easy as the only list A game which was played here earlier to this match Nathan Lion took half a dozen wickets. This was a hint to the India captain that he should have gone for a better spinner than Vihari or may be 2 spinner.

3. Injury and Team India

Even before India team went to Australia they lost their go to man and right now only fast bowling allrounder in India cricket team Hardik Pandya. Then they went to Australia in the practice match they lost their inform opening batsman Prithvi Shaw. Then after 1st match of the series they lost their spinner who took most wickets in the 1st match which India won. When they lost Shaw they were left with no choice but to play Rahul and Vijay who are not in great form. When they lost Ashwin they had to play with Vihari who is definitely not as great turner of the ball as Ashwin.
