26-year-old doctor dies by suicide in Mumbai’s Nair Hospital

Mumbai: A 26-year-old doctor from anaesthesia department died by suicide at the BYL Nair Hospital in Mumbai on Monday night, the police said. However, the exact reason behind the suicide is yet to be ascertained.

The doctor’s body was found in his room and has been sent for autopsy, according to the hospital administration.

According to the information received, the doctor was originally from Aurangabad. He had returned to work after being on leave for a few days. Police have registered an accidental death report and further investigation is underway.
