Youth arrested for sexually assaulting 15-year-old cousin sister in Maval

Pune : NpNews24 Online  –  Pune Minor Girl Rape Case | Taking advantage of being alone at home, a youth repeatedly sexually abused his 15-year-old cousin sister. The incident happened from October 2022 till date at Shirgaon in Maval taluka. The police have arrested the accused. (Pune Minor Girl Rape Case)

The 15-year-old victim lodged a complaint at the Shirgaon Police Station on Sunday. Accordingly, the police have registered an FIR under section 376 of IPC, POCSO Act and arrested the 18-year-old accused.

According to the police, the accused is the cousin brother of the victim. The girl’s mother works in a hospital. After the mother went to work, the accused took advantage of the fact that the complainant was alone and repeatedly had forced physical relations. The incident came to light after the victim was two months pregnant. On the complaint of the girl, the police registered a case and immediately arrested the accused. The police are conducting further investigation.
